Here at home, organizers in every state are actively working to derail a fast track vote as well as continuing to lobby members of Congress to commit to voting NO - should a vote be announced. One positive result is that this fight is unifying citizens around a common goal: saving our jobs, economy, and sovereignty from an attempted global corporate coup! Coalition partners on both sides of the aisle have joined forces, recognizing that this is a 99% issue - not a partisan one. Citizen activists are quietly working with groups gathering Congress signatures on both the Rosa DeLauro and Michelle Bachmann colleague letters opposing fast track legislation - and making progress. But as we near the home stretch we cant let up: the last time fast track authority was granted it passed by just two votes! We need to focus every bit of energy right now on stopping Fast Track! AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS: Following activist updates from coalition partners and reports from organizers in the field, well fill you in on the status of mobilization plans currently in development for a rapid response day of action in the event a Fast Track Vote is announced.
