Just a reminder that #AllLivesMatter, and that if I dont like you then its probably because youre a dick who does terrible things and has nothing whatsoever to do with your race. I was inspired to write this post for two reasons. One being that Ive seen far too much racist shit on Facebook so far today. The other was something that happened yesterday. A well dressed black man was selling pies at an intersection near where I live in the West End yesterday. I believe he was selling them for his church to raise money to feed homeless people on Christmas which is a noble enough cause for me to want to inquire about and possible purchase said pie. He was really working all the cars around me with his showmanship. He talked to 3 cars in front of me and was even shouting across to cars in the other lane. When he got to me he looked right at me and didnt say one word. He made a face of disgust as though I had offended him in some way and moved right on to the next car where he chatted it up real good like. I was pretty offended. Enough that Ive thought about it a lot since yesterday. Whats funny about the situation is that he didnt sell one pie to the group of cars at the intersection with me, and I was the one who wanted to support his cause. Just wanted to share this little rant with everyone. If I have offended anyone please dont get mad, lets talk about it instead.
