Just a reminder that tomorrow (Friday) we will have our March business meeting at St. Anselms College in Manchester at 7:30 pm, with an Ask the Astronomer session starting at 7:00pm where you can ask questions in a smaller group. During the main meeting well have our usual Astro Shorts session where everyone is encouraged to share a short summary of some observing or other astronomical milestone theyve reached in the past month. Following our networking break and snacks, our evenings speaker will be long-time NHAS member and past club President, Ed Ting. Ed has been involved with amateur astronomy for over 35 years. He has been heard on New Hampshire Public Radio, been seen on the Manchester, NH television show Star Hop and has written for Amateur Astronomy, Night Sky and Sky & Telescope Magazine. Hes a frequent speaker at local schools and participant in our club skywatches and is probably best known for his website, scopereviews where he discusses equipment based on hands-on experience. He will discuss a new approach to getting started on the hunt for the Messier objects, which will fit right in with our upcoming Spring Marathon event. Hope to see you there!
