Just a reminder to some..Although we might not like or agree with some of the rules, guidelines, set backs, changes in schedules, mail taking longer than one might think, phone calls being rescheduled and or limited, missing phone calls, your posts not being answered as quick as one might think they should be and the list goes on and on.... I would like to gently remind some.. that answering your questions on Facebook, emails being mailed out, informing you of when the calls should take place, posting photos of your child and more.. is a privilege, a luxury and is most always done unpaid and on ones own time. Any EMERGENCY that pertains to your child health should be directed to the counselor or medics and not posted on facebook. The Academys #1 priority is your child! It will always be your child. Things happen and schedules do and will change. Of course, this is not only an inconvenience to you, it is also to the Boosters, Academy staff and the Cadets. NO ONE intentionally changes things. The Academy does not have to let all know when the calls will happen, in a few of the past classes they have not told families when the calls would come. They were told, calls will come in 2 weeks. Keep your phone handy. That was it. In my sons class, we were never told this information.. but I stayed home all weekend if the call didnt come on Friday, because the call was that important to me. Most of us have cell phones now and are accessible 24/7. If you miss the call, as mentioned they will call back. Calls happen when they happen, so keep your phones handy. 200+ phone calls.. Stuff happens..BE PATIENT..We understand the importance of hearing our childs voice. BE patient! Boosters are volunteers! We have families, full time jobs, commutes and other responsibilities that at times might keep us from answering your posts immediately. They will eventually get answered and most questions/concerns are NOT an emergency that pertain to your child. Yes, we are here for you,the families of Sunburst! The Cadets of Sunburst. We are NOT here to be abused or harassed through face book posts and or emails. We give freely from our hearts and this needs to be remembered always! We give 100% and deeply try our best to meet everyones needs. Please keep this in mind before, during and after send is pushed. Thank you for reading. No need to post any responses. Sandy
