Just a repost of an old poem I wrote a while ago: Ireland:In honour The clouds come rolling oer green hills, The wind blowing like a piper and trees are dancing, Streets quiet cause in the bars we be romancing, With pints in our hands and in our mind the thrill, Of knowing everyday on our fates we place a seal; But it matters not for our happiness we are chancing While the piper plays and the hour is advancing, And never once was our beer going to spill. So as the music gets louder we all give in And our bodies fly along the cold rainy night For now the best laid plans of mice and men Happen when we let our hearts hit their height And a the music dies down as does my pen We can say farewell and bid goodnight.
