Just a short time left to see my artwork. Fourteen years ago this month, I started a job with TravelMaster. They design and operate touchscreen information kiosks. Its been an (um, how do I say it?) exciting place to work to say the least. I had to design a new Adobe Flash program to show 10sec commercials on the big overhead screens in the Baggage Claim area of OHare airport. Everytime I go through OHare I say, I could do better, I need to fix that, but I never got to it. Well now, after running nonstop for 12 years, its coming down. We were not invited to bid on the advertising contract, and the kiosks are being replaced. This was the last remaining contract. In a few weeks or so, we will be closing shop. So if you pass through OHare baggage area in the next few weeks, look up at the big screens, or see the user interface for the touchscreens and say, I know the guy who did that.
