Just a thing to make you go hmmmm.....Our head volunteer here: Shirley Gillman actually got a call and had a meeting with Montel Williams years back when he was promoting the Pparx program for a while. She actually found a lot of glitches in that program and advised him of such. Our office has helped start many other programs around the US in different states and some locally too. Several of those programs did not continue after a short while BUT we have been here since 2001!! Considering we all are volunteers here I think we have accomplished a great deal! No client fees are ever charged! We love what we do and the reward of helping and seeing the relief on a clients face when they receive their medication is all we need to keep on going.
