Just a warning to anyone who takes their dogs to the Hookers Rd bush reserve between Nyora/Lang Lang, just beside the gas plant. Parks Vic have set fox traps (which I totally understand) and the small warning sign states to keep dogs on leads. I ride with my dog by my side so i thought he would be ok cause i thought any trap would be right in the bush. My dog got caught in a rubber fox trap which was just on the edge of the main track, even if dogs are on a lead the traps are not placed far into the bush like i assumed. My dog was fine once i got the trap off lucky he has a tiny paw but a bigger dog might not b so lucky.
