Just a word of encouragement to those of you who believe in Jesus, but are facing many difficult issues in your life and in the world. Please remember the words of Christ to His disciples as they faced the loss of the One who had become their Savior and Lord. "These things I have spoken unto you, that IN ME YOU might have PEACE. In the world you shall have TRIBULATION, BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD." (John 16:33) Much later as the apostle John was very near leaving this world, he reminded the Christians of his time (and us): "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH." Regardless of what is going on around you, NEVER give up your faith, your trust, your hope. And God will keep His promise NEVER TO LEAVE YOU (Heb. 13:5-6).
