Just an observation but from the highest political offices to the most basic local political offices, it seems the people running and wining these elections are the least qualified in our society. The successful, smart, accomplished and qualified people to run our economies, education, and other services are too busy actually doing these things for their own businesses. I just see a lot of professional politicians at almost every level of government. Not all of them but a lot. I would not consider myself qualified to serve in office. I have never ran a successful business, managed a successful education system or public utility. I am not great with my own money and would never ask anyone to trust me to manage theirs. Yet, I see a lot of guys just like me thinking they have what it takes to be public servants and some of them are even less qualified. Some have never had a job other than politics or community organizers. I would feel ashamed to ask people to let me help them with their lives and decisions that effect them without the proven track record of at least managing my own life with some sort of success. I guess that is why I am not a politician or public servant.
