Just an update because we have had several people asking. Gary Welter mom is still in critical care. We can now finally say that she is making progress. 2 weeks ago Thursday linda had a pretty bad case of the stomach flu. They are speculating that somehow the bacteria from this got into an insulin injection site and literally started attacking her body. A week ago Tuesday she had to have surgery to remove a massive amount of infected tissue from her abdomen and two subsequent surgeries in the days following to monitor and remove additional infection. She has basically been sedated and non . coherent for one entire week. Yesterday she was finally awake and able to understand what was going on. She is quite frankly very happy to be alive. She will for sure have one additional surgery to close everything up and lots of re.hab ahead of her. Thank you to all who have been keeping her close in your thoughts and prayers.
