Just an update on my sweet Togor Gado. She is finally back in Columbia SC. She got a good report from the doctor on Tuesday and that was the go ahead for my mother Alheri Y. Gado to bring her up. She is getting better physically but its an uphill battle. She is still hurting emotionally and the lost of her friend Hannah has been tough.THANK THANK YOU for those that came down to see her. I know that lifted her spirits. We have been so bombarded with love and care from so many of you that its been overwhelming. It is in the hard times when you find out who cares, and yall showed out!!! I am amazed by the strength and beauty of my sister. As her big sister, Ive had the big responsibility of always looking out for her and making sure that she is okay...but I must say the conversation I had with her last night as I was checking in on her, reminded me that she is in good hands. She spent the better part of the conversation encouraging ME!!. It was as if God was speaking to me through her. I know that she has a long road ahead of her, but the Spirit of God that resides in her, gives me the peace of mind that she will make it through. I dont have to take care of her. The Most High is already doing that. Please continue to pray for my father Jeremiah Gado who is currently in Nigeria far from Togor. Its hard on him not to be here, so pray for peace. Also please pray that he will be shielded from the Ebola virus that is spreading throughout West Africa. Please also know Togors facebook page is back on, so please go on there and leave encouraging messages for her. She will respond back when she heals. A big thank you to our Faith Family. Twenty plus years ago you welcomed an African family to your church and youve been loving us ever since. We are forever grateful. Please continue to prayer for the driver of the car Adelle West Stanley, who is slowly making progress but still has an uphill battle. Pray for her husband Howard Stanley and daughter as they watch and care for her. Pray for wisdom as they decipher all the information that is constantly being bombarded to them with regards to her health and accident. Pray also for the girls Cami and Brea, young beautiful girls who are now seared with scars from this ordeal. Physically the recovery will not be an easy one but the emotional aspects will be tough. They lost their best friend. Finally for Hannahs family. Hannah was buried yesterday and so the reality of her being gone is now final. I cant begin to imagine their pain but my prayer is that the God of all Comfort will comfort them with His comfort.I pray that every life Hannah touched will carry her spirit on by living a life that pursues and pleases God. I know that for me, that is my desire. IN times like these, its easy to question Gods sovereignty. I am grateful that in His sovereignty He saved by baby sis. I cant imagine not hearing her loving laugh and beautiful face. I know Dorene Poe Robinson and Patrice Frye feel the same way, that God saved their beautiful girls. We all have been bonded for life because of this event. Our prayer is that all the lives affected will trust in the Great God we serve and know that here on earth we might not have gotten our perfect ending but we serve a Perfect God, who makes all things work together for good for those that love Him.
