Just as if I had known. I am not a clairvoyant. But as a student of history, and a data scientist, the historical data of the naivety of Muslims leaders in their social pursuit has armed me to be able to make a predictive analytic of what is obtainable about them. Now, they are publicly endorsing Ambode for Lagos Governor 2015, placing a Muslim as his running mate, and demanding the use of Hijab, as conditions. It has never worked. I doubt this will be an exemption. Not even under late Lam Adesina! Again, this has its backlash. Hope they are preparing for it? What if Senator Musiliu Obanikoro becomes PDP flag bearer? Campaign and dirty political jibes will be brought to Mosques, and the unthinkable can happen. Politicization of religion and religionization of politics are both reactionary tendencies, and for Nigeria, this is our time-bomb. The organised religion is the enemy of progress. Remember! CAN has also vowed to resist Muslims candidate in Lagos 2015. This is otiose. This same Akinwunmi Ambode, being a politician, would have sealed a befitting term with CAN, and definitely conflicting with what her Muslims counterpart wants. All he desires is power, before singing a different song. The most absurd decision of these so-called Lagos Muslims leaders is to concede to out-of-court settlement, before the will is done, banking on non-existent credibility of a vote-seeking Ambode. I hope someone is listening!!
