Just attended a forces leavers reservists brief. Basically, it appears that the Govt are reducing the Army to 82000 (all of which would fit into Twickenham incidentally) from 102000 and relying on making up the numbers from reservists when the next conflict/operation arises. As the big campaign on joining the reserves appears to be flopping, we that are leaving are now being asked to see if we would like to enrol as reservists because of our invaluable skill sets and experience. All this whilst making soldiers redundant! You couldnt make this shit up!!!
