Just back from wonderful family hols in La Palma, Canary Island. Resort was too amazing for words. 100 degrees hot. Needed the rest after moving into our dream house... But just to even things out a little bit before your jealousy makes you defriend me... We moved in on the Thursday and 6 days later as I took the kids to Poole to buy school shoes, we were burgled!!! Two windows smashed, glass everywhere. Every drawer emptied and thrown across every room; a terrified Pepe cowering in the corner, thankfully unharmed, Goodbye iPads, my whole jewellery box...oh my great Nans ring given to me by mum when I was diagnosed with MS and... And... Oh God they took sooooo much and they completely trashed the place, it was like a scene from Eastenders. As we discovered the enormity of what they had taken, Jess came running in holding her purse saying nooooooo they took my £5...in change Well the in change bit sent us all into hysterics, even the police men & forensics!!!! Keiths padlocked everything now, and the alarm is activated. Not actually sure if I can get out!!!! Last night Jess managed to sleep in her bed without being scared. Olly has been a legend and really helped, thanks, love you. Mum too, took Jess away from the scene of the crime and chilled her out. So on on with life and making our beautiful home beautiful, and to quote dads lyrics they cant take that away! X
