Just because Black men stood with the Black woman through all of these experiences does not mean that the Black man grew to adore the Black woman on any kind of mass level. Black men and Black women were forceably hurled and huddled together. Through these experiences Black men and Black women were not brought together by love. It was not voluntary. They had no other choice but to survive together, but this does not spell love for one another. It is akin to the survival of the fittest. Yes, the Black woman was the engine behind the machine that is the Black man. But the Black male person has never acknowledged with a sincere heart her participation in keeping him sane through the tragedies and the trials and errors of Black life in America. Today even, the Black man does not approach the Black woman with a god-heart. Just because we Black women fought injustice together with the Black man does not mean that you Black man, know how to love a Black woman. But she will teach you if you be still and listen. Black feminist are needed. Black man what scares you about the Black feminist? COULD IT BE THAT YOU FEAR THE Black FEMINIST BECAUSE SHE CAN SEE THROUGH YOU AND READ YOU LIKE A BOOK? love us, ms. ag
