Just because I know youre dying to hear the update about our new cat who poops in the bathtub. Lol Sabrina (note-she has name now) and I have come to an understanding. I keep the litter box in the bathtub and shell poop in it, one time. She cries and cries and leads me to the box and as long as I scoop that one poop out, when she announces its arrival, she will cooperate and go in the box. Ill spare you, her routine it I fail to do this. Lol She pees right down the drain. My Morning routine- squirt drain with 3rd world cleaner-Fabuloso and run tub to make Sabrina happy so its ready for her to use again. A rescue kitty with messed up little front paws from a very bad declawing. We cannot return this disabled cat to the shelter. We dont have it in us. We see how limited the botched operation has left her- clumsy, difficult for her to jump and cling to things, shes a big size Maine coon with teeny tiny front paws so she looks like shes in her tippy toes all the time! Yes, Sabrina has trained me well. My final remark- question really- who trains a cat to pee in the bath tub drain? I guess whoever had her before us, thought this was a bangin idea. Wait. What?! Sabrina has found an understanding and compassionate home. The little sweetheart. Shes a scaredy-cat, nervous and jumpy. A little traumatized for her life. Well take good care if her, regardless. But, really?! The bath tub? Thank goodness, we dont use it!
