Just because a person is not at their paid job does not mean they - TopicsExpress

Just because a person is not at their paid job does not mean they are not putting in 60 hours a week. What makes it worse is getting paid for 40 hours but putting in 60 plus and not being appreciated. My days start at 6:30 when I wake up and walk all the dogs and make sure they are taken care of and proper meds given. I then go to work where I deal with contractors and blue prints all day till 5pm. I am project manager and right now I have 14 jobs I am managing. . I then get off work and sometimes have to swing by vets or come straight home and let all the dogs out for a walk, feed them, cook dinner, clean up. Walk them again, Clean up any messes the dogs might have made while I was at work all day. Finally about 7:30 pm (13 hours after my day started) I get to sit down where I get on FB and make arrangements for transports, make run sheets, work on getting dogs rescues. Friday night I was up till almost midnight trying to work on a transport where 2 dogs could get out of pound and go up to a rescue at 7am the next morning. I was up at 5:30am to meet up with the first leg and see the dogs off. I go to the grocery store on my lunch hour as I dont have time to go after work. This weekend I spent all day yesterday cleaning, washing curtains, windows, shampooing carpets, doing laundry, dusting furniture, taking the dogs to get their nails trimmed and this is on my day off Is that really a day off... Nope, I would call that putting in a full days work just not getting paid for it. So I ask you, how many hours do you think I put in during a one week period and what sucks is I dont get paid or acknowledged for it.
