Just because were not dropping bombs on a country doesnt mean there arent hostilities taking place. We have inflicted severe economic sanctions against Iran. There is an embargo against Cuba. We are funding al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria to overthrow the government. We have backed several coup attempts in Venezuela. We have conducted military drills of nuclear attacks against North Korea right off their border. Many of our wars start long before there is a shot ever fired.
