Just been down to the parliament for the best part of an hour. What I managed to record shocked me and I trust me I havent put the worst of this up as its not appropriate to share. There was a small group of about 15 No voters and a very cute dog standing in a group with banners and flags so I went and stood with them. The Yes campaign were all singing flower of Scotland when all of a sudden they saw us standing and started to verbally abuse us. They shouting at us telling us we were racists, shouting f*** the UK, telling us we were irrelevant and calling us other inappropriate names. The police eventually had to come over to tell them to move on otherwise they would be arrested for their behaviour. Not one No campaigner turned round and retaliated and shouted abuse. The only time we responded was when what they shouted became personal and nothing to do with politics and the police had to step in. I have never seen a No campaigner acting in this way and no one, no matter what you voted today deserves to be treated like this. We live in Scotland where everyone has the right to be treated equally. If we go independent do we really want people like this deciding the future of our nation?
