Just been scammed by some fake European company who robbed £220 from my bank account!! Oh well. Not the end of the world. Here is a story for everyone to reflect on at times when you lose money or if money is stolen from you... Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) once had some money tucked away in his turban and went to the marketplace. When he was about to buy something, he noticed that it was stolen. As was common at the time, people gathered around him to see if they could help. Many of them began to curse the thief and supplicate against him, O Allah do such-and-such to him. How did ibn Masud react? He said, O Allah, if what caused him to steal was a dire need, then bless the money for him; and if what caused him to do so was fearlessness upon sinning, then make it the last of his sins. #Alhamdulilah
