Just before 7 am this morning Petersham Fire personnel were requested to respond to a MVC , Car vs Pole, on Shaw Road. Upon arrival it was discovered that there had been air bag deployment and heavy front end damage to the vehicle. Athol Fire responded with an Ambulance to evaluate the driver. Petersham Fire responded with Squad 1 and Tanker 1. The Petersham Police Department also responded and National Grid was notified. The scene was cleared shortly before 8 am.
