Just came across the fact that today is the 28th anniversary of the Challenger space shuttle disaster that occurred in 1986. I remember exactly where I was sitting in my 1st grade class when they announced it over the loud speaker, but of course I didnt quiet understand what was going on...only the tone that something really bad had happened. Interestingly, this was a time when we didnt have the type of cable proliferation of channels that we do today, so a vast majority of anyone watching TV at that moment were seeing this live when it happened. Do you remember where you were when it happened?
