Just checking the underside of my Orange Dual Terror to determine where V2 and V4 are. Then onto a complete re-valve using 4 x matched JJ EL84 moderate grade for the power amp section, 2x JJ ECC83S Gold Pin for V1 and V3 and 2 x JJ ECC83S Gold Pin with balanced triodes for V2 and V4 in the preamp section. Do I really know what I talking about? Well all this has sorted all the unwanted noises out. Now time to burn them in.
