Just curious. I just had a new organization that is supposed to be similar to Angies List, Yelp, etc., where you go online and post about business, giving reviews. I know that Angies List charges people to view that information. I dont know if they charge the businesses to be listed. I know that the BBB charges businesses to be on their list. Anyhow, they of course want to help our business by helping us to get new customers. Now I personally dont go to complete strangers to find out whom to trust. I certainly cant see myself paying a stranger to suggest services to me. I dont know of anyone whom posts to yelp and such places. My question is, since word of mouth, basically, is used on such places, their words from the sales lady that called, are you going to go to a stranger or to someone you know and trust for such advice? Personally, if I want sushi, Im going to ask a friend whom loves it where to go. If I need my fridge fixed, Im not going online to such a site to ask, Im going to ask my friends and family. Im just curious.
