Just dropped my wife off at the door to a mall then went to park the car. When I tried to walk in, a mall rent-a-cop stopped me. "Families only." When I contested and told him my wife was inside, he said he was following orders. To my astonishment, he said the law was made to stop the local boys from harassing the girls in the mall. So they are forced to extend the rule to include males of all the nationalities so as not to embarrass the locals. My wife came back out and escorted me inside. The amount of pity I feel for this kind of dysfunction is beyond words.
