Just ended my call with a great friend and mentor of mine in Christchurch... Ruth is the most positive person Ive ever met, living life to please God even if it means remaining single. Now shes 81, lost her house after the earthquakes, just been told by the insurance company that the 3 years of planning for rebuilding her home is now abandoned having to start the process all over again based on new building policies. 3 days ago, Ruths car that shes been driving for the last 30 years has been stolen, pulled apart and burned. Sometimes I do wonder how much more can this wonderful woman endure, but Ruth never indulges in self-pity or bitterness. She said life teaches her how to trust in Jesus. Please join me and pray for Ruth.
