Just finished Face-Timing with Daniel, Dad, Nancy, Tom, Linda, and their girls. Daniel smiled at us a little as we babbled on to him, which was so sweet because I know how down he must be feeling and how hard it must be to be where he is. He was on a stimulant yesterday and I suspect he has a little energy hangover today, but he looked much better than when I saw him last Tuesday morning and his beautiful eye was clear and deep and moving well. We can only imagine how hard this is for him to face and we know he is digging deep to find the strength and patience to face and overcome this. It must be overwhelming for him, but I saw a stoic resolve there that was both an inspiring and heartbreaking present he gave us. Merry Christmas, Daniel, and Merry Christmas to all of you.
