Just finished booking my trip to France in December. Leaving here on the 2nd and land at Charles De Gaulle, Paris, early on the 3rd. Two and a half days touring the Louvre museum, Eiffel tower, Arc d Triomphe and fine restaurants with Virgil North and his girl friend Marie, then we fly to the southwest of France for four days or so. There, we stay at an exquisite hotel with rooms not ten meters from the Atlantic. Surfing, dining, and a side trip to Spain to do the same, most likely on my birthday. Then, a train to Algers where we meet up with Xavier Pechenart for a two day wild boar bowhunt. After that, off to Xaviers castle land where we will hunt roe deer, relax, wine and dine, and get caught up with life. A rabbit hunt on Sunday, the 14th, at Xaviers castle with about two dozen special friends and guests followed by an evening of social events at the castle. Monday, Virgil and I take a bullet train back to Paris for one last night of wining and dining, and walking the streets, then I fly out the next day. Now...time to schedule a surf trip to SoCal, deer hunt in Indiana, and hopefully some fishing and/or woodcock hunt in Michigan. Sounds like good therapy right now...
