Just finished comparing the specs of the Galaxy S4 and iPhone - TopicsExpress

Just finished comparing the specs of the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s. iPhone 5 The 5s weighs less by 18 grams, has about double the ROM capacity and has double the chord melody for call alerts. The only major difference is the 5s has a 64-bit processor. Galaxy S4 The S4 has a larger screen, higher resolution screen, higher CPU clock, double the processor cores, double the RAM, a non-proprietary connector, supports external storage, a higher resolution front camera, higher resolution REAR camera, and a removable battery with almost 1000 more mAh. 64-bit or 32-bit Unfortunately, 64-bit apps do not exist in the market, potentially making the higher architecture a moot point. The million-dollar decision is whether iOS 7 will be either (1) strictly 64-bit and not allow any other device to upgrade to iOS 7 and additionally requiring backward support for 32-bit apps, (2) there will be a 32 and 64 bit edition rendering a dichotomy in Apple, or (3) it will be strictly 32-bit rendering the necessity for a 64-bit processor useless. Apple will likely only allow devices 5s/5c and newer, making it likely they choose option 1. Conclusion Understanding that this comparison is based purely on specifications and not performance, I believe there is a clear winner: the Galaxy S4.
