Just finished decorating the Christmas tree....first tree after two years of not wanting to celebrate.....went by the cemetery, told Monica that I had bought a tree and that I miss her. Bittersweet. The tree is beautiful, full of all our family memories. At church this morning we celebrated the hanging of the greens. Being reminded of the meaning behind the poinsettia, holly, the tree, the lights made me know that the act of decorating this beautiful Charlie Brown tree was an act of faith...an act of grace...an act of thanksgiving. I am truly blessed.
