Just finished my nite of work. Completed a book on Mary Lincoln and Lizzy Heckly, her seamstress while in the White House. It is interesting to see the comparisons and how they handled their lives. Mary was a spoiled child with nannies and servants, Lizzy was a slave and bought her freedom. But they bonded and became friends until after Mary moved to Chicago... I have friends that have come into my life and then left, reasons unknown. While here they were special and still I think of them with good thoughts.. Have you had fly by friends that left an impression? And did you make memories that you will always have? life is good isnt it?......
