Just finished reading Margaret Guenthers book entitled, Holy Listening.... What a fabulous read for anyone who wants to learn about spiritual direction.. But even more then that...these words are written from the heart in regards to being a midwife in the spirit (intercessors you will love this), entering into the lifestyle of a holy listener, and gleaning ideas for how to really enter into the slow work of God in becoming more fully human. My favorite part of the book was the last chapter on women and spiritual direction. The way Guenther addresses that topic left me changed.
