Just finished the newest G.R.R.Martin novella: The Princess and the Queen Very cool if youre interested in the Targaryen dynastys history and what happened to their dragons. The move to a third person perspective is in keeping with its premise as a History but makes it rather less visceral than ASOIAF and gives less chance for any personality of the characters beyond their nicknames and family names to come through. I guess Im just picky though and would rather see a full telling of the Dance of Dragons- especially now with the visualisations of its battles i now have in my head! ^^
