Just finished watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. HOLY FRIJOLES. Big honkin spoiler thread. . . . . . . . . . . . ... okay, now EVERYTHING is in disarray. Who is May reporting to? And how is SHE being played by whomever? Is Victoria Hand actually The Clairvoyant? She ends up, in the comics, working for Norman Osborns H.A.M.M.E.R., a -- shall we say -- more proactive version of S.H.I.E.L.D. Does Ward have any other agenda besides protecting Skye? I choked up when Skye got her badge. Theyve worked a ways to get here, and it felt great. Love Fitz/Simmons. Lust after Simmons. The overlay of Mike Peterson finally gave us the visual that said THIS IS EFFING DEATHLOK. That was glorious. So is the arm rocket. Other Easter eggs: references to the Lemurian Star. Lemurians are a Homo Mermanus offshoot -- comicbook ( goo.gl/bT50aC ) thinks their film rights are tied up with those of Namor, over at Universal, but Lemuria itself was first hypothesized in 1864 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemuria_%28continent%29 ). And Marvels been using it since at least the 1973 comic adaptation of Lin Carters 1966 novel Thongor Of Lemuria ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thongor_of_Lemuria ). Sitwells having to catch a boat (the one hes held hostage on early in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER). I even noticed that Garrett is working on a mustache. So, in an episode where a distinction is made between taking someone in and taking someone out, Hand has just ordered everyone on the Bus except Coulson to be taken out. WONT ANYONE THINK OF POOR LOLA?!? Shes right in the line of fire! Thoughts?
