Just finished watching Mars et Avril (Mars and April) with BethAnne. Ive been waiting to see this for two or three years. And, it didnt disappoint! Most of you may not have even heard of it. It had a very limited release, as an indie Science Fiction movie out of Montreal. Many, in reviews, report that the first time they saw the ending they were angry. But that, the second time, somehow it suddenly seemed perfect! Myself? I was overcome. BethAnne was also moved. It was poetic and beautiful. The way that many things are resolved for everyone, only THROUGH others, also seems to fit with the arguments the film makes about the universe. This is a truly rare film.
