Just for a little insight on how i did my last image... At the location of the shoot, I made sure I had my camera on a tripod and i had my background composition the way i wanted it. I then focus on my model, once I was happy with the focus I switched to manual focus and left my camera ( Very important not to touch your camera during these shots) As you can see below, me and my model Shannon, continued by holding up the baubles at different heights and distances. ( My boyfriend used the wireless trigger) to continually shoot as we moved about. We ended up with 30 different images ( a lot where out of the shot). I then opened up the images onto photoshop and made sure i dragged them into my main pose image. These then opened up as smart objects. From there I added layers mask and then masked out the individual baubles ( patience required). Then I edited my original image. compressed the baubles into one image(once they were sitting where i wanted them) and compressed them both together - last steps were done in a copy of my original pdf, so I didnt lose any of my work. A couple soft misty gradients, and thats how I got to my final Image. Let me know If anyone of you want to try it out and If you need a hand on the editing side of it. I will gladly elaborate more on my techniques. And I must add, no fancy equipment was used for photographing or editing this image , just me, my camera, my laptop and Photoshop. Thankyou!! x p.s Sorry for any bad grammar/spelling and sorry for some of the bad image quality ( snipping tool sucks)
