Just getting settled in at home. Bella is all tucked in her little bed, Dave is out like a light, & I have been doing what I always do this time of night. I try to always reflect on my day before I go to bed and have a long conversation with my God. Today I watched my husband and family (Anderea Turner Williams, Hannah Williams, Asa Williams, Taylor Larkey, Eric Smith, Janice Smith) morn the loss of a wonderful man. Doyle Williams Gramps came into my life about four years ago. The moment I met him I knew that he was a special man. The love he had for God was so amazing to me. He was a true example of what a Christian is. He was always so kind to me. On our wedding day Gramps hugged me and welcomed me into the Williams family. He always made me feel like his family. He always gave me a hug & told me he loved me every time I saw him. I loved his sweet smile that he always had. I loved when he would tell me Im glad you got to see me. He loved to joke and laugh. And did he ever love my little Bella. And did she ever love her Gramps. I will ask Bella who Gramps is in a picture and she always says Thats Gramps mommy! Hes so sweet. I love that! We loved getting to eat Sunday dinner with him. I loved his laugh & hearing him carry on a conversation with Bella. It was a privilege to have him in my life. Im so thankful for the time that I was blessed with to get to know him. He will forever be an enormous impact on my life.Doyle Williams will be missed by so many. Please keep my family in yours prayers as they say good bye to a father, grandfather, & friend tomorrow.
