Just got a jewel of a recording of Mozarts Prague and Jupiter symphonies by the Freiburger Barockorchester and Rene Jacobs. It came highly recommended by critics and they are absolutely right. The interpretations are exuberant indeed. The tempo of #38s last movement is faster than any Ive heard and the players handled it with technical ease. The performances present an individual approach to Mozarts scores. There are some slight rubatos as well as dynamic nuances, as Mozart did not always write in all the details for a performer to follow! GREAT LISTENING!
