Just got back from Into the Woods, and it was so good. Seriously, go see it for Agony if nothing else because I havent had a serious laugh like that in awhile. And Meryl Streep is (of course) perfection, and really it was very good. The only complaints I have are (SPOILERS); What in the seven hells happened to No More? Why would you cut that it makes no sense and does not give the Baker enough impetus to return and raise his son; I still really hate the Wolfs costume, pieces of it worked but all together it was just a mess; I really needed a little vibrato from Jack in Giants in the Sky, it was super monotone and weird on all the held notes; I loved all the musical changes, the script ones...yeah not so much, information was spoon fed and while I understand its a convoluted plot, it was just too heavy handed there was a better way and they didnt take it; Im really upset that they took the tempo down for Your Fault, like really upset, you are paid professional actors, if I can do it at the original tempo everyone else can too lets be real.
