Just got back from Williamstown,Ma where we saw a play at the WIlliamstown Theatre Festival. In browsing through their equivalent of Playbill, I came upon a section where they recognize members of the 2014 Company who have been with the festival 5+ seasons. Vanessa Joined the list this season. Over the past seven summers, Vanessa has spent all or part of five at Williamstown. Her first summer was 2008 as an intern between her junior and senior year.During one of the two summers she did not work at Williamstown, she was part of the road company of a La Cage aux foiles. The other she was a production assistant for Shakespeare in the Park. One of the productions that year, the Merchant of Venice, was subsequently staged on Broadway and she was selected as an assistant for the Broadway production. The play we saw, The Old Man and the Old Moon, was very good . After completing its run at Williamstown, it is schedule for a one month run Off Broadway in the early fall. After that it scheduled for a one week engagement in Boston at the Emerson Theater associated with Emerson College,,Vanessas Alma Mater.later in the Fall Vanessa is looking forward to working both.
