Just got back from taking Cameron to school & I hear a little girl screaming for help. I hear her screaming Daddy,Daddy someone please help me! So I went running full speed towards the screams. I find the house where the screams are coming from & say thru a privacy fence with the gate closed sweetheart are you OK? A terrified little girl that was probably 6 or 7 opens the gate with tears falling fast says I dont know where my Daddy is. Then she says please dont call the cops, Im all alone & dont know where my Daddy is. I said everything is gonna be OK sweetheart. Go inside & get some shoes on. She comes back out & I told her to go back & get a jacket cause its chilli out. She informs me her Daddy drives a scooter. As she is in the house getting her jacket, just as Im about to call the police I hear a scooter. The man pulls up with a sack from Hardees which is several blocks away, he asks if there is a problem? I said your little girl was terrified because she couldnt find you. He apologized to me & another neighbor that was standing there. My heart goes out to that terrified little girl glad it all worked out.
