Just got back from the hospital. Im glad my moms surgery was successful. But instead of a 3-day hospital stay, we had to extend a day. The Arcoxia she had to take made her feel nauseous, she couldnt go down to her doctors clinic so she was advised to stay another day until she feels a little better. I remember the crazy morning I had last Monday, the day she was operated. My cousin woke me up at 10AM and she said Oy, gumising ka na. May pasok pa ako. Samahan mo si Ninang dun. Pumunta ka na sa Operating Room. 11:00 nalang sya ooperahan. Tumaas kasi blood pressure nya. Di pa mapababa. I was in a hurry so I only ate the hotdog and scrambled egg she left for breakfast and had coffee. I didnt have time to take a bath anymore so its a relief I fell asleep still wearing my My Chemical Romance shirt and jeans so I didnt look like I just got up from bed, and I can still smell my perfume so I dont smell bad. I just brushed my teeth, grabbed the Mark of Athena I borrowed from a relative then my moms bag then headed to the Operating Room. Well, I wasnt allowed inside so I waited for her at the waiting area. I felt bored and nervous at the same time so I read Mark of Athena to calm myself. The nurse told me the procedure is only 1 hour. I started to worry because she hasnt come out yet around 3-4 hours. I approached the nurse and asked about my mom and told me to just wait for her in our room. My mom will be back in our room after 15 minutes. But despite of what happened, right now I feel like I was from a 4-day cruise and just stepped on dry land. I know it doesnt sound right but Im really gonna miss our room at Makati Med. Im gonna miss my couch potato days ^_^ I have my own spot there-a huge ledge by the window. I always sit there with a blanket on, eating popcorn or chips, drinking coffee or Mountain Dew, while watching TV night and day. I like seeing the view of Makati at night
