Just got back from two night three day motorcycle ride. Brother Tom and I met one of my dearest friends in Leavenworth. Never been there before, entire place is done Bavarian. Very quaint and expensive too. Spent night there and the onto Lake Chelan. Not my cup of tea and not sure why someone would build expensive homes there as it looks to me to be all about water sports and that lasts about 3 months a year. The went to Winthrop and that is fun place. Done in western theme. Had great great pizza. It was off this morning on the Cascade Highway. If you have not traveled it, it is absolutely spectacular. Why ride to Glacier Park when you can enjoy this in your own back yard. I love these rides as lots of time to think and make adjustments. I am always like a 6 year old little kid when I am away from Ruth.....I get homesick. Can you believe a man my age gets homesick? Need to be better husband! Bub Western
