Just got back late from being at the other property. We had to get some painting done and tidy up. It is so strange to say this but were never at "home" at the other property. We are at home here and so comfortable. Still putting things in their place and deciding what to sell at the garage sale we will have, but this is home. A family came by to do a visit with their 8 kids. I had them pick apples and plums and they went into the corral with the sheep and cow. The highlight for them was the old metal forging shop that was on the property at one time. It was one of three buildings that were not salvaged. The location of the building still had old horseshoes and wagon springs and clips and other various antiques laying around. All of the tools or parts of equipment that were needed on this farm, they forged themselves. The kids went away with a great memory and some treasures too.
