Just got home from ER, where I sat since 9:00 with William who was in extreme pain from another kidney stone. I prayed the whole time because he was in such pain that his blood pressure was skyrocketing and he was having a great deal of difficulty sitting still. He was able to resist the urge to pace, though, which is very good because a 350 pound schizophrenic pacing anxiously and moaning tends to freak out people and there were armed security guards there. So I just sat there praying over and over for God to help him handle the pain until he could get back to a room and get some pain medicine so that he didnt end up lying on the floor bleeding from a gunshot wound. Those of you who dont understand that fear, be thankful that you dont. Those of you that do, Im sorry.
