Just got home from Oklahoma, I HATED to leave my brother but he is in good hands and the entire family is there with him. For any who dont know yet he was injured in an oil derrick fire and is severely burned. He is critical in ICU but he is stable with a 90% chance (great odds). He has a very long road ahead of him. He will have his first surgery on Monday morning, lasting up to 6 hours for one of his legs. Then on Wednesday he will have another skin graft surgery on the other leg. He is expected to stay in ICU Burn unit for 2 months then he will be going to rehab which I believe will be an inpatient rehab at the same hospital. He is on a respirator, heavily sedated and was given a feeding tube today. Prayers for the 2 men who lost their lives as well as for my brother Matt and his coworker Mark who is also in the ICU Burn unit. Also a VERY BIG thank you to Dwayne for carrying my brother and Mark out of the fire. I am amazed that even though your own brother perished in the fire, you saved 2 peoples lives. Im forever thankful for that!
