Just got home from appointment with oncologist and he has cancelled my chemo for Friday. He wants to run some tests before we resume chemo to determine if chemo was the cause of my reaction on the last treatment or if it is something else. He is setting up a CT scan and Neurological assessment and I see him again in two weeks. Ordered extra blood work on top of platelet count which I did before leaving hospital. My body is getting a break, mini two week vacation (lol). Look forward to this unexpected break! Forgot to ask if I continue taking chemo meds before leaving, silly me, have left a message with PDN.
