Just got home from work. We closed at 1:30. What is normally a 10-minute drive at the most took me over an hour. I have never been so stressed out or that scared in a long, long time. I couldnt see the road or hardly anything in front of me. When I finally pulled into my driveway, I shut my car off and just bawled my eyes out. I dont suggest anybody being out in that unless you absolutely have to. Thank you Jesus for watching over me and getting me home safely. Before I left for work this morning, I was looking out the window and talking to myself about how I didnt want to have to drive in that. My 9-year-old said we should say a prayer and I told her that would be a good thing to do, so she grabbed my hand and shut her eyes and bowed her head and said the most grown up prayer I have ever heard. I have such good kids and a blessed life. And my nerves are really really shot right now. I am so thankful to be home =)
