Just got my mammogram and ultrasound results back. Its funny when you just get that feeling that its time for a check up. So, yesterday they had to redo some parts of the mammogram with magnification, and had to change the head on the ultrasound to try to see past the scar tissue. Anyway, the report says there is a suspicious looking calcification which could just be new scar tissue. The distortion was also noted on the ultrasound, but they recommend the suspicious looking calcification be investigated. They recommend a Stereoactive core biopsy to be done at the Base Hospital. My Dr is away today, so Ill call him tomorrow and set it all up. Probably nothing, but better to know what Im dealing with so I can get rid of it! As I said, I just deal with whats in front of me, one day at a time, so no point in worrying. Dont panic unless I tell you to lol!
